- Creating a seal (in principle)
- Once you have decided on the company form and trade name, create a stamp (a three-piece set of a registered seal, bank stamp, and square stamp is common).
- Creation of articles of incorporation and certification (corporations, general incorporated associations, general incorporated foundations)
- Get certified at a notary public office in the prefecture where your head office is located.
The notary public's office requires reservations, so please make sure you have plenty of time in your schedule.

incorporation (sealed in the incorporator's column + stapled, pasted with binding tape, and all incorporators' official seals on the front and back)
2. Seal registration certificate issued within the last 3 months for all incorporators (1 copy each)
3 Certification fee 30,000 to 50,000 yen (varies depending on the amount of capital)
4 Transcript fee 250 yen x number of articles of incorporation
5 Revenue stamp 40,000 yen (if not electronic articles of incorporation)
6 Power of attorney
7 Declaration of the person who is to be the effective controlling person

- Copy the front and back of the cover (where you can see the bank name, branch name, and bank seal) and the page that shows the transfer details.
If you are using an online bank, print a screenshot of the page where you can confirm the above information.
